Gulf War Cartoons from 1990

The following are cartoons that I drew and enclosed in letters to a a couple of soldiers that I wrote to during the Gulf War in 1990. These were hand-drawn as you see them on 8x11 writing paper.
I scanned them in and then made them into a gif format with a header.
The soldiers never receive originals. I Xeroxed the original to insert in the letters.
I kept the originals and those are what I scanned in now.

Back in those days, it took about 4-6 weeks to receive and send mail. They did not have email.
This is why I only managed to create 4 Gulf War cartoons during the time.
Remember, these were written for adults. They are not suitable for young children.

They are all black and white.

Since history appears it appears is going to repeat itself, I thought I'd share them now on-line.
