Everyone recognizes our song = "Here Comes Peter Cottontail." Lyrics are by Water "Jack" Rollins and Music is by Steve Nelson. It was first performed by Gene Autry back in the 1950's on his "Melody Ranch" TV Show. (He also performed "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer", "Frosty the Snowman" and "Here Comes Santa Claus.")

Here comes Peter Cottontail Hopping down the bunny trail. Hippity hoppity, Easter's on its way! Bringing every girl and boy A basketful of Easter joy Things to make your Easter Bright and gay.
