Looking good isn't enough today.
A lot of women look good. So what will give you the edge?
Cosmetology vs. Technology. Guess what!

1. A good TV set! A man will stay with you longer if he enjoys your TV and remote control. If possible, get a state-of-the-art stereo system for your home and car too. Men love loud music! Show him you have no desire to make conversation.

2. Subscribe to all the cable channels you can - especially sports. If possible, get a satellite dish. Yes, that's the real round, curvy dish a man adores!

3. Drive a truck. A big truck is best. If a truck or SUV is not for you, drive a stick shift. Men drool over stick shifts.

4. Tell him you don't mind his cell phone or beeper calls and that it's a part of life today.

5. Hide all health foods in your house. Graciously display pretzels, chips, and beef jerky in bowls.

6. Keep "The Sharper Image" catalog on your coffee table. Show him you don't intimidate easily.

7. If you have a fireplace, make sure he sees your burnt copy of "Men are From Mars, Women are From Venus" in it. If you don't have a fireplace, let him see this book partially shredded up in your wastebasket.

8. Replace your kitchen dinette set with a poker table and chairs. Keep a jar of change as the centerpiece.

9. Tell him you just love to shop at Radio Shack, Circuit City and your Home Improvement Center.

And finally....

10. Keep your toilet seat up and the roll always full.
