More Patriotic Watercolor Backgrounds! Page 8E

Due to popular demand, I had to put our patriotic backgrounds on a page of their own.

Some of the images were cropped off-center to give you room for text because
their graphics were too difficult to have text over. Example: My Statue of Liberty is
such a gray-green, that text would not show over it. But she is gray with green patina!

The link buttons do not always show the true proportions of the actual files.

Unlike Page 8 I'm going to explain a bit about some of these images.

This is MY version of Uncle Sam.To me, he is now the "spirit of America" and no longer a recruitment figure. I gave him more of a spiritual tone.

Although gone, I think the waffle steel beams w/the sun shining thru best shows promise for tomorrow?	This is presented off-center in real file for text.	These are Proud Americans of all ages and races.		I chose to put these in because although gone, they will always be embedded in our American spirit and thus in our flag.

This to me represented new life starting.	This symbolized the American Unity, or for those overseas connected with those at home.	This either represents "Welcome Home", "Coming Home" or "Keep the Home Fires Burning."	Like photos of some of the events, my idea was to blend the flag with moods. I wanted a Sunrise to be inside the flag as a "new day" dawning.	This is pretty self-explanatory. We hope for more peace in the future.

This may be depressing, but I created it for those who want to honor soldiers.	"Somewhere over the Rainbow" there will be a better tomorrow in America!	It took me a few months to be able to make this image blended with our flag. It's pretty self-explanatory.	I tried to express that the United States is the center of the earth's peace process.
